Our approach involves providing project-based learning programs that embody the Chancellor’s priorities, match grade-specific curricula, and improve student learning results.

Salvadori curricula are grade specific and align with:

  • Common Core Standards (in applicable states)

  • Next Generation Math and Science Standards

  • NYC Department of Education Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Visual Arts

  • Amplify Science principles

Project-Based Learning (PBL):

  • Rigorous: an inter-disciplinary approach using a variety of knowledge

  • Relevant: experimental and experiential; making connections through doing

  • Real-world: ties everyday challenges to practical learning experiences

10 years of independent assessments found statistically significant gains in Salvadori students’:

  • Confidence in their math and science ability

  • Motivation to pursue STEM and STEAM education and careers
