The Salvadori Center held its Annual Student Design Charrette (an all-day design challenge) for public school students who participated in Salvadori’s in-school residencies on Friday, May 30, 2013.
The full-day event featured 100 Salvadori Students from New York City public schools who designed, constructed and tested the strength of towers made from spaghetti. Each team’s tower had to be at least 30 inches in height, and each structure was tested to failure.
